This is a portrait of The Miroku Bosatsu, which is said one of the most beautiful Buddhism statue in the world. I have painted the face in reverse to express the feeling of giving.
In Buddhism, Buddha taught not to love. He said love is the sauce of attachment and persistence. I did not understand it for a long time. But now I think I got an answer. Love has various faces. If I use 'care' for the word, everything would be explained? I believe that what Buddha wanted to say was not to "love", but "care".
